Road maps, Historical maps, National Geographic maps, WWW connections maps, Google maps, Topographical maps, Mind maps…there are so many types, styles, sizes and themes.
Well thought out and graphically pleasing Maps give a wealth of information to the viewer.
I also love GIS -Geographic Information Systems, a computer enhanced version of mapping -which can also link virtually any piece of information in a database to a location on Earth or maybe even other planets (but we don’t currently have easily accessible geographical data for those…yet, EU Space Program, JPL, NASA ??!!)
